New trend graphs for Discogsteo wrote:
I've put up two new graphs that show activity on submissions.

1. Side-wide Trends: http://www.discogs.com/subs/trends Two graphs, each shows stats for the last 30 days. The top shows how many submissions were posted, cancelled, accepted, and rejected. The bottom graph shows what activity users have done on the submissions: voting, comments, edits. 2. My Trends: http://www.discogs.com/subs/mytrends Again, two graphs, each shows stats for the last 30 days. The top shows what has happened to your own submissions. And the bottom graph shows how you have participated on all submissions (votes, comments, edits). If you hover your mouse over one of the bars you'll get an exact count and date. I started collecting data for these on midday Nov 5, so that's why the beginning of the graphs are empty. I'm looking into a way of filling in the data for before Nov 5. Links to these pages are available while browsing submissions (http://www.discogs.com/subs/browse) and your own submissions list (My Discogs -> Submissions). enjoy! teo edited this message about 1 year ago. hmvh wrote:

It would by nice if we could compare the current stats with a earlier period. That way we could get an indication of the effect of some of the system changes. IntelliGiant wrote:

as I dislike my graph it may stimulate me to increase my activity / productivity So as there's no way to see the stats Before the current 30 days and if the process of looking into a way of filling in the data may take more than 2 weeks it doesn't deserve spending time on it (-: neocactar wrote:
heh, me too. I did some quick math and I'm not doing nearly as much as I thought I was. These 30 day graphs are nice - are there any plans for over all stats too? Jooles wrote:
Excellent stuff, teo. Many thanks. It'll get really interesting as we start to see the trends over time.

Would be really great if we could extend the trend analysis beyond the 30 days. For example, in 5 years' time, it'll be really interesting to be able to look back at the trends on a month-by-month, year-by-year basis. DJ-Merlin wrote:

but it'd be also helpful to check other user's trends, like http://www.discogs.com/subs/trends?user=xxx any chance, that's going to happen, too ? Yemsky wrote:
interesting indeed.

What are we going to do with the information now that we have more than 50,000 new submissions pending? I agree with comkai's suggestion. This would be as interesting to see about members submitting as it would be about moderators. ;-) mesha wrote:
What about a whole year stat? See when you submitted the most, that kind of things.

I don't understand what the need is that this feature meets. I mean, I looked at it once, shrugged, and haven't felt any desire to look at it again... am I missing something here? assaiki wrote:

That was all the Artist and Label merges that we had pending. They were just cancelled without warning, although we did get an email to let us know it had been done (unusually polite). tony.lee edited this message 8 months ago. SC725 wrote:

http://www.discogs.com/help/forums/to...26#2079065 As it doesn't look like any bugs will be fixed anytime soon, let's see voting stats please. Should be easy to do. quisquilia wrote:

http://www.discogs.com/help/forums/to...26#2079936 : That will be X days worth of votes. Stats should also be being continually collected in order to determine potential new voters. It can't be much of a job to change from displaying Y/N -> 5 possible voting categories. Any information is better then the current total absence. helix edited this message 7 months ago. djtmaroon wrote:

ZZZ are marked as User votes on this release data indicate that it needs changes made.
